Problem

Food demand changes due to many factors that are unpredictable in nature. Farmers often throw food out to avoid devaluing it due to changing supply and demand curves.

Nuances / Challenges

We wanted to consider:

  • Reducing food waste with minimally impacting the price of produce
  • Creating affordable meals
  • Creating artificial demand of food in excess to help balance supply and demand curves
