Hydro-Spine

VALUE PROPOSITION
Move confidently.
Your posture: supported.
Posture is complicated; we make it easy to maintain good posture. Our product offers dynamic lumbar support to help you keep proper skeletal curvature and prevent long-term, chronic back pain. Powered by hydraulics, the exoskeleton mounts on a belt and molds to a person’s back and applies a slight pressure to keep the back in place.
PROBLEM

03
The modern world's ergodynamics unfortunately promotes hunched backs with poor desks.
Constantly hunching backs often leads to back pain caused by extended stress.
So why is there not a system to help promote good health?
OUR SOLUTION
Here is a quick time lapse of the project process.
The primary issue of the hydro-spine was having it support its own weight and restricting its movements to model the movements of a human spine. The hydraulic action is performed by two syringes connected by clear tubing.
OUR PRODUCT
On the right are two gifs of our product working. As shown, the movement is hydraulic powered, and cable assisted.
