Exploring Wellness Habits

We all have to take care of ourselves, but one size doesn’t fit all. Different strategies work for different people.

We’re going to look at a digital card deck of habits and strategies that help people manage their stress and support mental health. You’ll be able to pick one to learn more about.

(1) Open a deck of digital cards by either scanning the QR code with your camera app or by using the short URL.

(2) Take a few minutes to look through the habits and strategies. Pick one that you find important or interesting. Click the “LEARN MORE” button and take a few minutes to explore.

(3) Form a group with people who picked a card with the same color as you. Take turns explaining your habit or strategy to your small group. Answer questions like:

  • How do you use this strategy/habit? How does it work?
  • Why does it work? What does it do to the brain, body, etc.?
  • When or where would somebody use it? Does it prevent stress, help people handle high-stress situations, or both?

(4) When I tell you, form new groups where nobody has the same color as you. Answer the same questions.
