Grade 9
Grade 10 Applied
This course emphasizes applications of math. It covers many of the concepts from Grade 9, such as ratios, lines and equations, as well as some new Grade 10 topics.
Grade 10 Academic
This course emphasizes algebra skills and problem solving. Academic math is fast-paced and theoretical, and is intended to prepare students for 11 University level math.

What’s the difference between…
11 C (MBF3C - College)
Students who plan to go to university or college or work, but will not need a 12U level math credit. This course is more application based than 11 M or U math.
11 M (MCF3M - University/College)
Students who have good work habits, but may have had some difficulties in 10 Academic. There is a pathway from here to 12U Data Management, if needed for post-secondary choice.
11 U (MCR3U1 - University)
Students who are interested in taking math, sciences, engineering, computer science, business, or any program that requires taking math courses in university.
11 UE (MCR3UE - AP Prep)
Students who are exceptionally strong in math, and are interested in math. This is intended for students who are considering 12 AP Calculus.
