What is The Exclusive?

In partnership with Cliff Drysdale Tennis, The Exclusive is an invitation only, expertly curated triannual event at some of the world’s most breathtaking tennis destinations.

​

Each event is limited to three Men’s and three Women’s NCAA Division I programs for a secluded week of tennis, world class accommodations, 5-star restaurants, warm camaraderie, alumni, parent and donor inclusion and unforgettable fun in paradise!

Tom Jacobs is a sports industry veteran with 35+ years in athletics administration. He has worked with the Big XII Conference, UC Berkeley, NCAA, CCHA, and USTA. Inducted into the ITA Hall of Fame in 2008, he managed NCAA championships like the College Cup and Frozen Four. At USTA, he led Player Development. Tom holds degrees in business and sports administration from the University of Kansas and Ohio University. He lives in Williamsburg, VA, with his wife, Lori, and has three children, including former student-athletes Derek and Emma.

After graduating from The University of Georgia, Jason worked with Island Def Jam Music Group in New York City for nearly a decade. He then started his own sponsorship agency in Atlanta, working with major brands and sports organizations. Now, as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the Collegiate department at Tournkey, Jason oversees collegiate team travel services for NCAA programs and has launched The X Invitational and The Exclusive offering unique team trip experiences across the U.S.and the Caribbean.

Jonathan B. LeCrone has been the Horizon League Commissioner since 1992, leading it to membership growth, better championships, financial success, and more national recognition. He has served on NCAA committees and started initiatives like the Women’s Leadership Symposium. Before this, he was an assistant commissioner at the Atlantic Coast Conference for nine years. A Wake Forest grad with a master’s in sports administration from Ohio University, he's married to Lisa Dauria Knorr and has five children: Alexandra, Megan, Emery, Weston, and Maxwell.
