Apply for a Focus Area

• Select your primary core request. Core includes an English 11, US History, & Focus Area. You will not sign up for a separate English, US History or Focus Area class.

• Complete Focus Area Application for primary request.

​

• Select 2 alternative (2nd & 3rd choice) core. First choice cannot always be accommodate.

Reminders for Selecting Courses for Fall 2025

Aeries online course selection is open -

• Review transcript for graduation status and progress towards A-G completion.

​

• Review the WHS Course Catalog for course descriptions and prerequisites.

​

• See counselors at break or lunch with questions regarding next years classes.

​

• Submit Focus Area Application.

​

• Consult with current teachers for advisement on next year’s placements.

​

• Select alternative elective courses.  WHS cannot always accommodate your first choice.

​

• Complete application for electives that require one.

​

• Juniors must take a minimum of 5 classes.

​

• If you do not select courses, counselors will choose for you.

• Click “Forgot Password” on the Aeries login page
• Type in your student WUSD email address which will generate an email from Aeries to students WUSD Gmail account
• Check email and click the link to reset the password

• Enter Primary Request by course number from the course selection sheet.
• Select the course that appears and then click “Request Primary” to add course.
• Repeat above steps for all primary requests.
