Alphabet Poem
By:Katelyn
Ants are small and bumpy
Bees sting and pollinate
Crabs snap there claws around the beach
Dinosaurs don’t live anymore
Elephants stomp around the safari
Ferrets are my favourite animal
Giraffes stick out their tongue at the zoo
Hears hop around your yard
Iguanas are green and fall out of trees
Jaguars run really fast
Koalas climb trees
Locus are similar to crickets
Millipede have millions of legs
Newts are interesting creatures
Octopus have eight legs
Ants are small and bumpy
Bees sting and pollinate
Crabs snap there claws around the beach
Dinosaurs don’t live anymore
Elephants stomp around the safari
Ferrets are my favourite animal
Giraffes stick out their tongue at the zoo
Hears hop around your yard
Iguanas are green and fall out of trees
Jaguars run really fast
Koalas climb trees
Locus are similar to crickets
Millipede have millions of legs
Newts are interesting creatures
Octopus have eight legs
Peacocks have pretty feathers
Quail are fascinating
Racoons are smelly
Seagull fly around the beach

Couplet Poem
By: Katelyn
There was a small little house
That was as quiet as a mouse
The cat ate a gnat
And everything went splat
When the woman got home
She packed to go to Rome
She was in a hurry
She left in a scurry
Her pets said “Hooray”
“We can have a party!”
They ate the rugs
And a few more bugs
