An inventor and an engineer are two different fields. An engineer uses scientific knowledge and follows an engineering design process to solve a problem. An engineer can be considered an inventor but an inventor can only be considered an engineer if an engineering design process is being followed.

Problem:

You have been challenged to design a pod or nest to protect people from falls. Well, you can’t test it on people first, you have to use non-living things as test crash dummies first.
