Academic Levels

  • There are 2 levels of courses at the High School
    • Honors/Advanced Placement (AP)
    • College Preparatory (CP)

  • Both levels prepare students for life after high school, but Honors/AP move at a faster pace and typically require more independent work than CP classes.

  • For most subjects, levels are fluid, and they can vary by subject as appropriate.

Please Remember...

School progresses in rigor each year in order to prepare you for your next step in life. Middle School prepared you for High School, and High School will prepare you for your post-secondary plans. Keep this in mind when you are selecting your courses. Pick courses based on your ability and motivation and not based on your friends or the teacher teaching the course.
