Accessing Google Classroom from a Home Device

Select the link: google.com. Sign in using your district issued username and password.
Tap the Google waffle and open Google Classroom.
To access Google Classroom from a home device, students will need to open a browser window and log into Google with their school issued credentials. Follw these steps:
Select the Class tile where your assignment is posted.

Students should access materials either in their Stream or under the Classwork tab.

Open the Google Classroom icon on the iPad home screen.

If prompted, sign in with your @lexington1.net email address and password.
In Google Classroom, there may be several types of resources posted and shared by your teacher. The easiest place to see all of your assignments and resources is the Classwork tab.
Teachers organize Google Classroom using Topics.
They may organize by subject, week, or unit.
Beside each resource posted in Classroom, students will see one of the icons below beside each resource.

Tap the Class and then the Classwork tab to see your assignments. Tap on assignment title

Tap the image with your name to open the assigned file.

In Google Classroom, Click Turn in and Confirm in the assignment tab.

Open the Google Classroom icon from the home screen of your iPad. Sign in if prompted.

Tap view instructions.

To upload assignment, click + Add or Create

Complete your assignment per instructions.

If the file is in your Google Drive, select that option, choose your file, and then click Add.

Open the Google Classroom icon from the home screen of your iPad. Sign in if prompted.

Select the assignment and view instructions.

Click Turn in and Confirm
If you need to attach a link because your file is on the web, select Link, enter the location, and then click Add.
If the file is on your computer, select File, choose the file, and then click Add.
Click X if you want to remove an attached assignment.
Create a new file (if required). If you need to enter your work into a new Google app document, such as into Google Sheets, you can do so from the Add or create menu as well. Just select the Google app you want to use to create your assignment (Docs, Slides, Sheets, or Drawings). Then, click the new file and complete the assignment.

Tap Join in bottom right.

Open Google Meet from Google Classroom on iPad

Open Google Classroom icon from the home screen of your iPad.
Select your Homeroom class from the list.
Tap Join.
If prompted, students should tap Allow to give access to the microphone and camera.
Use the controls at the bottom of the screen to turn camera and mic On/Off.
