Students advance science as undergrads, some are even published in journals
Field courses and camps, including at Acadia National Park, our Darling Marine Center, and on glaciers in Alaska, provide immersive, hands-on experience
Social work, nursing, dietetic, and communication science and disorders programs all require students to complete clinical or field experiences in schools, hospitals and other community settings. (This is sometime for UG and sometimes for G) These programs have strong license passage rates.
Natural resource majors have seamless access to the outdoors, ensuring what they learn is applied with boots on the ground experience
Gives our students off-campus experience that compliments their education, helping them develop a problem-solving mindset that gives them a leg up when they join the workforce.
