Additional educational needs will inevitably arise
Research + Compile Resources (data-driven)
Design criteria to identify what is valuable educational material. Use this criteria as a guide to identify already existing materials from both internal and external resources; add resources to a team-created database. Compare existing content detailed in database with identified areas of need. Create list of content needed. The key here is to make the list of needs widely accessible to anyone who wishes to participate in content creation.
Identify Areas of Education Needed
Create survey to ascertain educational needs. Distribute survey to each workstream requesting teams identify important topics related to workstream, current challenges with deficiencies either in own knowledge or colleagues. Distribute survey to all ‘foxes’ and participants to gage overall needs. Discuss extending this externally on social media.
Note: This survey is directly related to industry-specific knowledge. Recommendation would also to ascertain other professional skills team members would benefit from developing.

Design + Execute Need-Based Educational Resources
Intentionally design materials based on level of need per topic. Design materials in a variety of formats to reach a variety of learners. Instructional materials should be created with the intention to reuse material for potential future courses. Also keep in mind changes in technology and level of difficulty in making edits. Example, video content should lean towards timelessness, graphics should lean towards timelessness but if organized well with layers will be easier to adapt, written content is easiest to update in most cases and rapidly changing info is best in this format. For onboarding documents, include information like design aesthetics, location of logos, etc.

It is vital for this project to coordinate with other workstreams prior to rollout. Cross-coordination includes survey dispersal and returns, general ideas and suggestions on educational needs and resources. Buy-in will be crucial to success. Marketing will need to help with creation and distribution of materials. Pins to top of threads with where to get more information.
