Standard logos
We do use single colour logos in some instances. Please email the CYF team if you believe you need a single colour logo.
Please don’t use our logo on your website without our permission:
“Code Your Future and the Code Your Future logo are trademarks of Code Your Future, a charitable organisation incorporated under the laws of England and Wales under charity number 1174929, and are used under licence”
The two logos above should be used in most instances where you need a CodeYourFuture logo.
You can use the rectangular or square logo depending on the setting:
Space around the logo: we ask for a minimum 15% of the total logo size for space. I.e.. If the logo is 150px, then the space would be 15px.
Single colour logo use:

Raleway is for Marketing material.
For marketing material, we use the google font Raleway only - for flyers, our website, posters, social media, etc.
We use a combination of Black and Extra bold for headlines. For body copy and subheads, we use medium or bold. Raleway has good readability for accessibility.
We mostly use Lato for our Digital Products.
For example, in our Intro to Digital Platform and CRMs.
This is because Lato is is better for small product copy.
We still use Raleway in our products, but that is usually just for product names or headlines.
The double chevron symbol
We use the double chevron in CYF material to symbolise moving together.
As you can imagine - there is also a link to the brackets used when coding.
We don’t have strict rules for the use of the chevron yet, other than it should be in the key brand colours.
Currently, we favour partial visibility of the double chevron, aligned to the side, top or bottom of a design.
You can see the use of the double chevron in web design, a certificate and an assignment slide.

Red bottom border
For some photos on the CYF website where there is not other decoration (eg. a logo or copy on top), we can include a border on the bottom of our photos - using the red from our pallette.

Our design system
Our design system is on Figma.
Note: there is one difference between our website and the digital products we create: in the digital products we use Lato as functional and body copy.
