Year 7 - 10
Slam.
Participants have 1 min to share inspirational ideas, strategies or a tool you've tried while distance learning! Add & tag a Slide with your name, class site and blog link plus any text, images, links in support and That's a SLAM!
Contributing to the SLAM is optional, however if you are inspired during the live Meet go ahead and add to the Slide. If you can't make the live SLAM you are very welcome to contribute to the Slide deck.
Jamboard (desktop)
Just like writing on a regular classroom board:
Use your class site for planning the lesson. Link the jamboard into the planning.
Model the lesson during a Google Meet with your class.
Explain the Learn, Create, Share aspects of the lesson by modelling an example with the students.
Managing student feedback and feedforward

The Summer Learning Journey is proven by Woolf Fisher to curb the summer slide.
We used it with our year 6-8 class during lockdown because: - it’s engaging- we didn’t know how long we’d be distance teaching

EDUCANDY
Great for concise word and vocabulary.
You create your list of words words, or questions and answers and Educandy turns your content into cool interactive games.
Once you’ve created an activity, a unique code is generated. Simply share that code with your students and they’ll be able to play the game on their own device, in class, at home or even on the bus on the way to school. You can even embed the games into your own website if you want to.
