We are a team!!!
LITERACY� �Your child will develop reading and writing skills by using a variety of strategies and resources in a full immersion spanish class. They will also enhance their oral skills and will communicate their thoughts and ideas to the group.
Kinder uses CKLA Curriculum, where children develop through readers and writers workshops and learning centers the skills they need. We have different stations that include art, mathematics, literacy, reading, fine motor skills, sensory, with different materials and activities where children will interact and cooperate with their peers to enjoy learning, play, and grow while having fun! We will be focusing on the similarities between the languages so children can connect foundational skill concepts.

Your child will be exposed to diverse activities that will allow them to learn, experiment, discover, play, and grow while having fun!! We will be working on number sense, algebraic thinking, geometry,and measurement through different hands on activities.

We are panthers and we show our POWER in school!!
DPS will provide breakfast for our little ones. They will be able to have breakfast in the cafeteria before coming in to class. You will be able to accompany them and leave them in the class at 8:15 am.
For our afternoon snacks,we will be sending a rotation snack calendar starting September 1st.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
Please let us know in advance if you want to celebrate your child’s birthday at school.
If you are having a party and want us to hand out the invitations, we kindly ask to please invite all the class, only boys or girls. Its very hard for us to explain why some children were not invited.

We want to use age appropriate friendly texts and materials for our children. We would like to ask for $10.00 per child to purchase the same note book and book bin to use in the classroom.
