OHIF Sustainment and Future
OHIF has been largely supported by grant funding, from core sustainment grants such as the National Cancer Institute ITCR U24 to more specific area focused grants such as the community and access oriented Chan Zuckerberg Initiative EOSS program.
OHIF receives substantial technical contributions from key community members that depend on the platform's success, from smaller scale development focused research groups, to leading commercial/industry partners.
As OHIF continues to expand, the core team is adapting to ensure long term success is sustainable. This includes refining OHIF governance principles to meet evolving project needs and adopting an inclusive community approach to support the platform’s broad application across a diverse install base.
