Using a Calculator

Most tests, including the GED Math Test, allow you to use a scientific calculator.

A calculator is helpful only if you know how to use it.

All scientific calculators have the same abilities, but the keys might be in different places.

Before you take any test, make sure you practice with the calculator you will be allowed to use.

In this lesson, you will learn how to evaluate powers and roots on a scientific calculator and how to work with grouping symbols.
