• September 21 – TONIGHT! Open House at Hollis from 5:00 to 6:30. Come and hear about the great things your child is learning this year!
• October 7 – Field Trip to Fire Department, please send in money and permission slips this week. The cost is $4.00.

• Please send in a change of clothes for your child if you have not already done so.
• Tennis shoes are required for the days your child has P.E.
• Please only send water in your child’s water bottle.
• Ice cream is now being sold at lunch. The cost is $1.00.

Reminders

• We have been learning the words respect, compassion, empathy, cooperation and honesty at school during Social Studies. Review these words at home with your child.
• Last week in Science we learned that we all are scientists with fun experiments with apples. Ask your child about these experiments and see what they remember!

21 de septiembre – ¡ESTA NOCHE! Jornada de puertas abiertas en Hollis de 17:00 a 18:30. ¡Vengan a conocer las maravillosas cosas que su hijo/a está aprendiendo este año!

7 de octubre – Excursión al Departamento de Bomberos. Por favor, envíen el dinero y los formularios de autorización esta semana. El costo es de $4.00.

Próximos eventos

• Por favor, envíe una muda de ropa para su hijo/a si aún no lo ha hecho.

• Es obligatorio el uso de zapatillas deportivas los días que su hijo/a tenga educación física.

​

• Por favor, envíe únicamente agua en la botella de su hijo/a.

• Ahora se vende helado durante el almuerzo. El precio es de $1.00.

Recordatorios

• En la clase de Estudios Sociales, hemos estado aprendiendo las palabras respeto, compasión, empatía, cooperación y honestidad. Repasen estas palabras en casa con su hijo/a.
• La semana pasada, en Ciencias, aprendimos que todos somos científicos con divertidos experimentos con manzanas. ¡Pregúntenle a su hijo/a sobre estos experimentos y vean qué recuerda!
