Send off�No one appreciates a long speech after a long day, but neither is it appropriate to rush off with a quick, “We’re all out of time; don’t forget to fill out your evaluation,” while half the people have started leaving. �This is an appropriate time to refer back to your beginning story or quote or a key quote from one of the presenters. Above all, thank the participants for their efforts to strengthen and enrich the well-being of families and fathers. ��Refer to the burned-out sparkler … We’ve all been there, we attend a great event with great aspirations but eventually the initial excitement peters out into so much smoke. What are you going to do to keep the Fatherhood FLAME burning? Who else’s flame can you combine yours to turn up the heat, send a signal, and ignite a passion in the hearts of men for their children and their children’s children?
