THANK YOU!

As we enter our 33rd year of hosting the Cultural Fair, we thank you for your participation! The Cultural Fair is one of the events that makes our school community so special.

As defined in our social studies textbook, culture is a characteristic of civilization that includes the beliefs and behaviors of a society or group of people. We have such a diverse student body at Borel, and it’s wonderful to celebrate our diverse cultures.

Food Fair Set-Up

Wed. March 27: Set up 2-5pm, Food Fair open 5-7pm

In preparation for the food fair, please do the following during the set up time:

  • Remove all artifact items from your table and your tablecloth. We will provide you with a plastic tablecloth to cover your table.
  • Bring your food items to “sell.” We recommend 125-175 small appetizer-sized servings. Visitors purchase tickets ($1 each) at the door when they enter. You will set the price for your food item(s) - usually 1-2 tickets per item or more depending on size. Please provide a sign for your booth indicating cost of item(s). We will provide you with a container to collect tickets. No money handling required!
  • We will provide you with a supply of plates, bowls, forks, napkins, and food service gloves (under the table when you arrive). You will receive a form and have an opportunity to pre-select what is needed ahead of time.
