The land is now recognized as the traditional territory of Treaty 7 to the north, west and south and Treaty 4 to the east. The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education also wishes to thank the First Nations people, past and present, for welcoming us here.

An important step in reconciliation is the acknowledgment of traditional treaty

land and recognition for the people of the territory.

The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education would like to acknowledge that we are gathering on the traditional land of the Blackfoot people who have welcomed here for centuries the Cree, the Métis, other First Nations and non-indigenous people.

God’s Helpers Every Day: 16:10-13

“Anyone who can be trusted in little matters can also be trusted in important matters. But anyone who is dishonest in little matters will be dishonest in important matters.

If you cannot be trusted with this wicked wealth, who will trust you with true wealth?

And if you cannot be trusted with what belongs to someone else, who will give you something that will be your own?

Weekly Reflection

Let’s JOIN together in PRAYER

Dear Lord, help us to do the little things with care each day. At school, guide us to help a classmate who is struggling, follow the rules even when no one is watching, and speak kindly to others. At home, help us show love and respect to our family and listen to their needs. May these small acts help us grow closer to You and share Your love with everyone around us.

Let Us Pray for Others:

Asking God to help everyone feel loved, safe, and happy helps us to grow as disciples and share His love in the world. Let’s take a moment to reflect and pray for others…we can pray for our family, our friends, and those who have hurt us or who may not get along with.

Power of Prayer - Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

PRAISE

Let everything

that has breath

Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord

Let everything

that has breath

Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord

I’ll praise in the valley

Praise on the mountain

I’ll praise when I’m sure

Praise when I’m doubting

I’ll praise when outnumbered

Praise when surrounded

'Cause praise is the water

My enemies drown in

17 of 38

PRAISE

As long as I’m breathing

I’ve got a reason to

Praise the Lord oh my soul

Praise the Lord oh my soul

I’ll praise when I feel it

And I’ll praise when I don’t

I’ll praise 'cause I know

You’re still in control

'Cause my praise is a weapon

It’s more than a sound

My praise is the shout

That brings Jericho down

I won’t be quiet, my God is alive

How could I keep it inside

Praise the Lord oh my soul!

Pandarrific Recognition

Blake broke his hand early in the school year and he has to be super careful with any physical activities. Luckily, he has a great friend “Charlie” that is always helping him and doing things for him. During recess, they will sit together and play math games over and over. They often stay inside to work on the classroom puzzle as well. Their laughter is so awesome and it shows what true best friends they are! You two are definitely pandarrific!
