What is It?

• The SRAR allows for the admissions process to be expedited
• In some cases, it replaces the high school transcript depending on the school.
• Is it required, or optional?
• Depends on the school.
• Ex: Clemson requires the SRAR regardless of us sending your transcript.

Before you start it…

• You will have one SRAR/SSAR account that you can use for multiple schools that require it.
• Make sure you have a copy of your transcript in front of you.
• Scoir > My Drive > “Transcript with Rank”
• If you attended more than one high school, the transcript for previous high school(s) attended is also located in your Scoir Drive.
• Read the instructions for each school’s SRAR requirement. Some schools may require you to enter all classes taken from 9th - 12th grade; others may only require you to only enter your 12th grade courses.

How Do I Begin?

• If you applied to a school that uses the SRAR, you have most likely (or will be) been notified that you need to complete the SRAR
• The school(s) will send you an email with a link to the SRAR shortly after applying

• You cannot link the SRAR to schools unless your application(s) have been completed.
• If you repeated or withdrew from class(es), you still need to indicate this on the SRAR. Remember the SRAR must match your transcript.
• SHS uses Weighted GPA
• English classes coincide with grade levels
• Ex: Our English 9 is “English 1” in the SRAR, English 10 is “English 2”, and so on
• Capstone is listed as “Other > Research” (P/F)
• Capstone Mentorship is also “Other > Research” (P/F)
• SHS uses a Semester system - enter grades as semester grades

• List classes taken this year as “In Progress” (IP)
• Classes must be listed EXACTLY as listed on your transcript
• Ex: Fund. of Music/Theory - enter this name exactly as is.
• UCONN ECE courses are Dual Enrollment (ex: AP/UCONN ECE Biology)
• AP classes are just AP - not ECE (ex: AP Psychology and AP Comp Science Principles)
• For classes in middle school that you’ve earned credit for (Spanish B, French B, and Algebra I, make sure that you’ve indicated the grade taken and credit earned (1.0)
• Computer Apps is under “Computer Science” subject

Can I Change the SRAR/SSAR Once Completed?

• Yes, you’re able to update it
• The SRAR is “saveable” - come see your counselor with any questions along the way
• If there are any changes in your schedule, make sure you update the SRAR
