Admissions Options

  • Early Action - apply early and receive decision well in advance of regular decision (non-binding)
  • Early Decision - apply with a commitment to school, if admitted, must attend. (binding)
  • Restrictive Early Action - apply to school of preference and receive a decision early. Not allowed to apply ED, Restrictive EA or EA to other institutions. Have until May 1 to confirm (non-binding)

Test Scores

  • Many schools are still test optional (1800+). Visit here https://www.fairtest.org/university/optional to verify.
  • Students are responsible for sending scores from ACT/College Board directly to schools.
  • Students should send scores sooner than later, as it takes ACT/College Board 2-3 weeks to process.

College Rep Visits/Career Center

  • Dates and times of college visits are listed in Naviance

  • Students must clear class absences with teacher prior to visit – exercise good judgment when missing class.

  • All offers of admissions are conditional upon successful completion of coursework
  • Students MUST notify colleges of changes to their senior year courses
  • Offers of admissions can and have been revoked for a decline in performance
