What is the Personal Project?

Project? What?
The Personal Project is the capstone activity for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)- grades 6-10. This activity is meant to be a demonstration of soft skills developed in all of the student’s classes and to be an exploration of an area of personal interest.

What will you end up with?
The final result that the students will submit is a reflective report.
How does this work?
Everything is handled via ManageBac.
You will be assigned a teacher supervisor/mentor to support you through the process.
There will be lunch time and afternoon work sessions for you to get support (announced via ManageBac).
Everything gets submitted on ManageBac on March 1st.

How to get things started in ManageBac
Getting things started
When you log into ManageBac, from the left-hand menu, select IB Manager
Getting things started
From the IB Manager Screen, select Personal Project
Getting things started
From the Personal Project screen select Edit Goals
Wait...
Once you have your goals entered, you will be assigned a supervisor, you just have to give me a few days to get it figured out.
Once you have been assigned a supervisor
Follow the directions and Just keep going….
