Cafodd y Cynllun presennol ei gyhoeddi yn 2015. Mae'n nodi'r ymrwymiad i wrthdroi colli bioamrywiaeth yng Nghymru, a'r amcanion ar gyfer gweithredu.

Vision
The GBF vision of securing a world of living in harmony with nature where so:
“by 2050, biodiversity is valued, conserved, restored and wisely used, maintaining ecosystem services, sustaining a healthy planet and delivering benefits essential for all people.”

Y weledigaeth
Gweledigaeth K-MGBF yw sicrhau byd lle mae pawb yn byw mewn cytgord â natur ac, o ganlyniad:
Erbyn 2050, mae bioamrywiaeth yn cael ei werthfawrogi, ei gadw, ei adfer a'i ddefnyddio'n ddoeth, gan gynnal gwasanaethau ecosystemau, magu planed iach a chynnig manteision hanfodol i bawb.

Six strategic aims have been identified to address the issues that are driving the decline in our biodiversity, and to support recovery.
These six aims are designed to halt and reverse biodiversity loss, while maintaining and enhancing biodiversity and strengthening ecosystem resilience, in line with the duty in section 6 of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016.
They build on the six objectives of the 2015 NRAP, align with the UN Convention on Biological Diversity and the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), and recognise that action must address both the ecological and wider socio-economic drivers of biodiversity loss.
Rydyn ni wedi pennu chwe nod strategol i fynd i'r afael â'r materion sy'n achosi'r dirywiad yn ein bioamrywiaeth, ac i gefnogi adferiad.
Mae'r chwe nod hyn yn anelu at atal a gwrthdroi colli bioamrywiaeth, wrth gynnal a gwella bioamrywiaeth a chryfhau gwydnwch ecosystemau, yn unol â'r ddyletswydd yn adran 6 o Ddeddf yr Amgylchedd (Cymru) 2016.
Maent yn adeiladu ar chwe amcan NRAP 2015, yn cyd-fynd â Chonfensiwn y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar Amrywiaeth Fiolegol a'r Fframwaith Bioamrywiaeth Byd-eang (GBF), ac yn cydnabod bod yn rhaid i unrhyw gamau weithredu fynd i'r afael â'r hyn sy'n achosi colli bioamrywiaeth yn ecolegol yn ogystal â'r ffactorau economaidd-gymdeithasol ehangach.

Aim 1: Protect, restore and effectively manage ecosystems to build their resilience.
Aim 2: Safeguard species and improve their management.
Aim 3: Tackle key pressures on species, habitats and ecosystems.
Aim 4: Establish effective governance and capacity to deliver.
Aim 5: Embed biodiversity through engagement and awareness raising to support effective decision making at every level.
Aim 6: Improve our evidence and monitoring.
Nod 1: Amddiffyn, adfer a rheoli ecosystemau yn effeithiol er mwyn meithrin eu gwydnwch.
Nod 2: Diogelu rhywogaethau a gwella eu rheolaeth.
Nod 3: Mynd i’r afael â’r pwysau amlycaf ar rywogaethau, cynefinoedd ac ecosystemau.
Nod 4: Sefydlu llywodraethiant effeithiol a'r gallu i gyflawni.
Nod 5: Ymgorffori bioamrywiaeth trwy ymgysylltu a chodi ymwybyddiaeth i gefnogi'r broses o wneud penderfyniadau effeithiol ar bob lefel.

This is the start of the conversation and there will be further stakeholder engagement with completion targeted for spring 2026.
While the six aims set out the strategic framework it’s through all our collective actions that the Vision will be realised
