Jennifer Kong is an Environmental Engineer with the City of Los Angeles. She graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in ecotoxicology at Oakland University.

Ms Kong has built a career with Sanitation for over 20 years, she worked in industrial waste compliance and recycled water programs, and is currently in financial management securing grant funding for Sanitation’s many infrastructure projects. At her leisure, she enjoys a good book and cooking, she also enjoys traveling and water sports.
