If I see my picture or first initial here, I am logged into Google Chrome.
If I don’t see my picture or first initial here, then I am not logged in. I can be logged into my Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, etc) without being logged into Chrome.

Label an email

Hangout through Gmail
Click on the
Share your screen during the hangout
Enter the name of the person you want to hangout with
Save an email attachment into Drive
Click on Organize to move it to a specific folder.
Pick the folder and select “Move here”
Hover over the attachment & the Drive Icon will appear. Click it.
Gmail Challenge
Your principal sends out lots of important information and you want to be sure you can find this information quickly! Create a new label in gmail called “Principal”. Look in your Gmail inbox and select an email from your principal. Apply this label to the email.
Create another label that is useful to you (ARD Meetings, Parent Communication, Student Communication, Testing Info, etc). Sort 4 more emails into the appropriate labels.

Create a Calendar Event
To add an event, click on the day and time of the event; enter a title and click MORE OPTIONS
Add a Notification to an event
To add a notification, click ADD NOTIFICATION.
Once you do so, you have the option to change it to EMAIL.
Invite Someone to an event
To add someone to the event, click on Guests and then type in email addresses.
Google Calendar Challenge
Create an event on your calendar for sometime next week. Call the event PLC Meeting and add a notification one day in advance. Invite a guest to your meeting.

Your PLC is planning for next week’s lessons. You want to provide a place for your team to collect all the planning documents and assignments. Create a new folder in google drive and share it with your PLC. Be sure everyone has editing access. Add a document from your drive to the folder. Share the folder with your PLC, including your instructional coach.
