Kroodh (True story of Ahmedabad):-
There used to stay poor tenants on 1st & 2nd floor & landlord on the 3rd floor in a chawl of Ahmedabad.
They were facing shortage of water. There were no taps in their houses & they had to stand for hours in the queue at ground floor to fill water.
Once one tenant who was standing in a queue had her turn to fill the water but suddenly the bossing landlady came in between to fill her pot.

The tenant lady could not tolerate her insult. She went to her house on 1st floor & poured kerosene all over her & ignited herself.
Within no time she was burning in fire. She then went on the 3rd floor towards the landlady. The tenant lady who was caught in fire went near the landlady & embraced her.
Both were caught in fire. The tenant lady out of anger kept cursing her “I will die, along with me, you shall die too”. Finally both were burnt & died due to fire.
Moral:-
Anger never solves the problem.
It destroys everything.

Maan (Story of Sanatkumar Chakravati):-
Once upon a time in devlok, Lord Indra praised the beauty of Sanatkumar Chakravarti. In order to test Sanatkumar,2 devs came to his palace as Brahmin.
The 2 Brahmins were impressed to see the beauty of Sanatkumar in spite of the fact that he had not taken bath. “I have not seen such a beautiful human being“ said the brahmin.
Sanatkumar was filled with pride & replied to the brahmins that “If you want to see my beauty, come after 2-3 hours, when after bathing I will wear beautiful clothes & jewellery and will sit on my throne”.

Sanatkumar took bath and wore beautiful clothes & jewellery. The 2 brahmins visited the palace again but were shocked to see him. And so he questioned the brahmins & they replied “Oh ! King ! Your body is caught by dangerous diseases in these 2 hours. If you don’t believe us then spit in the spit bin & you will find numerous insects.”
Sanatkumar followed the instructions & he saw numerous insects in his spit. The brahmins explained that he had an ego of his beauty & so he is suffering. Sanatkumar repented on having ego on his beauty and later took diksha.
Moral:-
We must never be proud of wealth, intelligence, beauty & power.
We have received it due to punya karma & Karmaraja can also take it away from us.

Maya(Illusion):-
There was a king named Mahabal .He had six friends .All of them took diksha & had decided to do similar tap .
Mahabal muni on the last day of fast falsely claimed to be sick & extended his fast in comparison to other munis in order to get more honour.

By performing best Tap, Charitra and having best thoughts (bhaav) Mahabal muni attained the ‘Tirthankar naam karma’.
After death all the 6 munis took birth as prince of 6 different kingdoms while Mahabal muni took birth as a princess named Malli Kumari.
Moral:-
If one does maya in dharma, one will have to take birth as a lady. But if one does maya in worldly things like clothes , food , money , toys , etc it will lead to even bad karmas.

Lobh (Greed):-
Once upon a time, Kumarpal raja was sitting under the tree. He saw one rat who had severe attachment to gold coins in his last birth, coming out of the hole carrying 1 gold coin in its mouth.
Again it went inside the hole and brought second gold coin. In this way the rat gathered 20 gold coins. Kumarpal raja took all the gold coins .
As soon as the rat came out of the hole carrying another gold coin, he was shocked to see no gold coins over there. The rat banged his head in shock and died.
4. LOBH (GREED)

Lobh (Greed):-
Kumarpal raja took the 21 gold coins & added other lakh gold coins and built a jinalaya named ‘Mushak Vihar’. Mushak means rat.
Moral:-
Attachment towards wealth makes us animals like snake, rat in the next birth.
We must never steal others wealth because it can give shock to the owner.
We must not be attached to clothes, food , toys , etc.
