ENROLLMENT:

Current Special Ed Population - 88 for school year 2024-25

Opportunities for the coming year: less understaffed admissions capacity, increased social media presence, and increased expertise of marketing expert.

UPDATE FROM SCHOOL!

Academic:

• Next Steps for Biology Teacher Kate Strait one of FOUR finalist for Maine Teacher of the Year
• Staffing: Structural shortages as compared to school in years past across disciplines, administration, and special education. (resulting in increasing class size and number of offerings)
• Expanded Health Offering and MLL resources
• Off site programming for all subject areas
• Robust club offerings

Funding:

• Submitted ESEA funding request
• Grant cycle for Maine Community Foundation
• Outward facing work - chamber, rotaries, community events
• Flex Friday Program
