Spring MEETING INFORMATION

  • Meetings will be held bi-weekly, every other Wednesday from 5:45pm-6:45pm in the College of Medicine (1400) OR KIN 1024
  • Spring GBM 2026 Dates: 1/21, 2/4, 2/18, 3/4, 4/1, 4/15

  • Monday before meetings, you will receive an email from our secretary, Ashna Epuri! (Contact her to be added to the

GENERAL BODY MEETINGS

  • Reminder:
    • Please be courteous to our speakers and refrain from texting, working on homework, or leaving early during their talks
    • We ask that you commit 1 hour every 2 weeks for our meetings- please plan to stay for the full hour each time
    • If you leave early → you will not receive the full amount of points for the GBM

    • Let us know ahead of time what conflicts you are having and we’ll do our best to accommodate you with an appropriate reason

    2. Required in order to start earning points!
    3. Returning members must complete this as well
    4. Please join the GroupMe & Canvas on the website!
  2. Membership Dues- Due GBM 3!!
    • Submit ANNUALLY
    • $50 for the year (VENMO @aedfsu)
    • Includes a FREE t-shirt!
  3. 3.3 cumulative and BCMP FSU GPA
    • BCMP- Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics
    • No Dual Enrollment

To be recognized as a Local Member you must meet the following point requirements:

  • Earn 8 Miscellaneous Points (1 must be from tutoring)
  • Attend 2 Social Events
    • We will host a minimum of 4 per academic year
  • Earn 6 Marketing Points
  • Earn 2 Service Points
  • Earn 2 Fundraising Points

  1. Become a Local Chapter Member
  2. 3.3 cumulative and BCMP FSU GPA
    1. BCMP- Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics
    2. No Dual Enrollment
  3. Earn 55 Involvement Points during 2 Consecutive Semesters
  4. Fill out Induction Paperwork at aedfsu.com, then pay the one time National Fee of $75 to @aedfsu on Venmo
    • Member with the most points gets a FREE National Membership

    • BCMP- Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics
    • No Dual Enrollment
    • After 3 semesters of classes at FSU, paperwork for the Freshman who qualify will be sent for National Membership Status
