5 THINGS I DO WITH CLAUDE AI

Helps me make decisions

When I’m stuck between options, I give Claude the situation, constraints, and what matters most to me. I ask it to challenge my assumptions instead of simply agreeing.

HOW I PROMPT IT

““Compare these options using cost, time, risk, long-term impact, and opportunity cost. Tell me what I may be overlooking.””

RESULT

I get a structured decision framework instead of making a choice based only on instinct.

5 THINGS I DO WITH CLAUDE AI

Formulates my ideas

I often start with a messy idea. I use Claude to organize it, find the main point, and turn scattered thoughts into something I can actually build on.

HOW I PROMPT IT

““Here are my raw thoughts. Don’t change the core idea. Group them into themes, identify the strongest argument, and show me what’s missing.””

RESULT

A rough thought becomes a clear concept, outline, or plan.

5 THINGS I DO WITH CLAUDE AI

Helps me understand assignments

Instead of asking for an answer, I give Claude the assignment instructions and ask it to break down what the professor is actually asking me to do.

HOW I PROMPT IT

““Explain this assignment in simple steps. Tell me what each requirement means, what I need to submit, and give me a checklist — without doing the work for me.””

RESULT

I understand the task before I start, which makes the assignment much less overwhelming.

5 THINGS I DO WITH CLAUDE AI

Recommends suggestions

I use Claude as a brainstorming partner when I need options — for projects, business ideas, content, studying, or everyday decisions.

HOW I PROMPT IT

““Give me 10 realistic options. Rank them by usefulness, effort, cost, and potential impact. Then recommend the top 3 and explain why.””

RESULT

Instead of settling for the first idea, I can quickly compare several strong possibilities.

5 THINGS I DO WITH CLAUDE AI

Teaches me new ways to solve problems

When I already know one way to solve something, I ask Claude to teach me alternative approaches and explain when each one is useful.

HOW I PROMPT IT

““Solve this problem three different ways. Explain the thinking behind each method, compare the tradeoffs, and tell me when I should use each one.””

RESULT

I learn the reasoning behind the solution — not just the solution itself.

Claude isn’t just an answer machine.

For me, it works best as a thinking partner:

→ Challenge my decisions

→ Organize my ideas

→ Explain what I’m learning

→ Give me better options

→ Teach me new approaches

The goal isn’t to think less. It’s to think better.
