What is Unrulr?

  • Unrulr is a social learning app that makes your growth visible throughout your educational journey
  • Traits & Skills “Cogs” - You can tag traits and skills in your posts
  • Prompts - A teacher may ask you to reply to a PROMPT they create, in which they can tag a trait(s)/skills(s)
  • Content - You can also create your own original posts (called “build a moment”) to demonstrate growth and to track a specific trait or skill.
  • Build a Journey - You can connect several moments (posts) to demonstrate growth over a period of time (ex: a class project or capstone project). You will be required to build journeys each semester.

Be Responsible

  • Because this is a social app experience, you will have a level of flexibility and creativity over the content you post.
  • Also remember that Unrulr is a place track your learning and growth in a professional learning environment.
  • Be appropriate with the images and words you choose, and ensure they support the moment you’re trying to build. Be supportive and constructive when commenting on others’ posts.
  • If you come across a post you feel is not ok: locate the three dots to the right of a person’s name, click, and click again on MODERATE. This will bring the post to your teacher’s attention, and your teacher will be sure to examine the post and address it with the student, if needs be.

Let’s do this!

Unrulr

ICAP JOURNEY: Today!

Your work today is to “Create A Journey” on Unrulr to demonstrate your ICAP progress throughout the Fall semester.

(FYI: this is not only an Advisory requirement, but tracking ICAP is a STATE requirement for all CO students)

15 of 23

Unrulr

ICAP JOURNEY: You Must Include all first semester items from the Freshman ICAP Journey Rubric

You are REQUIRED to include the four items above in your journey to receive 1 pt for today. Remember this is a pass fail course and one 0 will result in failing. If you do not have these items go to the Freshman ICAP Journey Rubric and open the assignment to complete it and post to your Unrulr before creating your fall semester journey.

Unrulr

ICAP JOURNEY: Highly Encouraged

- We recommend adding any/all ICAP Unrulr posts from this semester to your journey to demonstrate the variety of ways you are exploring career and academic opportunities, even if they do address the same Quality Indicators.

- If some of your Unrulr posts are not of great quality, you should edit these to best address the ICAP QI.

(you may include more QIs, *highly encouraged)
