WHAT IS FLL?

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a global robotics program that challenges students to think like engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers. Using LEGO® robotics, students design, build, and program autonomous robots to complete missions on a themed challenge mat.

WHY IT’S GREAT:

    • It’s often called the “Sport of the Mind” — combining the excitement of competition with real-world engineering and teamwork.
    • FLL is the “hardest fun you’ll ever have” — it pushes students to solve complex problems creatively while having an amazing time.
    • It builds 21st century skills: teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and resilience.

PROJECT

Our Teams research the year’s theme and identify a real-world problem. They then create and present an innovative solution, which can be a product, process, or idea. This challenge helps students build creativity, problem-solving, and presentation skills while connecting their work to real community needs
