• 60 credit hours Total
• 6-20 credits each: (4 areas)

-Aesthetics and Humanities (AEH)

-Natural, Math, and Info Science (SMI)

-Social Science (SSC)

-Artistic Process and Creation (APC)

• 0-15 credits: Gateway (GTW) - optional

General Education Core

• Two prefixes in each category
• Minimum grade C- or S
• 6+ prefixes overall (AEH/SMI/SSC/APC)

Credit Hours Guideline

Course Levels

• 000-099 = Developmental Level
• DO NOT count toward 180 for graduation
• Math 040 not eligible for Financial Aid and some scholarships, but ok for Athletic & Residence Hall requirements
• Math 070 and 095 eligible for Financial Aid, Athletic & Residence Hall requirements
• 100-299 = Lower Division
• 300-399 = Upper Division

Class Standing

• 0-44 qtr credits = Freshman
• 45-89 qtr credits = Sophomore
• 90-134 qtr credits = Junior
• 135 or more qtr credits = Senior

How Long?

• 15 credits x 3 terms x 4 years = 180
• Will you attend Summers?
• 12 credits minimum full-time status for financial aid, housing, etc.
• Some scholarships require 15 credits per term, as well as athletic eligibility

• Wk 1 Add & Drop freely via Webster
• Wk 2-4 Drop (only) via Webster (may incur fees)

Add requires Registration form w/Instructor sign

• Wk 5-7 No drops. May withdraw “W” on transcript.

Add requires Registration form w/ Instructor & College Dean signatures

• Wk 8-10 No drops or withdrawals. Letter grade (A-F or I)

Add requires Instructor & College Dean sign on Registration form

All adds must occur before the end of 10^th week, none in finals week or after end of term.

Academic Standing

• Good Standing – EOU gpa & term gpa of 2.0 or higher. Your Goal!

• Academic Probation – term gpa below a 2.0 - freshmen 1^st term must make a 2.0 or probation.

• Academic Suspension – term gpa and cumulative gpa while on probation = suspension
