8th Grade Semi-Formal
Saturday, April 30th from 6:30-9:00 in the TMS Auxiliary gym
This is a semi-formal event and not like every other school dance. Attire for ladies may include tasteful dresses, separates or pantsuits with flats, sandals, heels, or dress shoes. For our young men, dress pants, a button up, tie or bow-tie and dress shoes are recommended, but of course not required. Be sure to abide by all PCS dress code rules.
Nearly half of the 8th grade class �voted on a country, rustic theme. This does not mean students must dress to match the style; it will simply set the theme for decorations. If your student would like to match their attire, they absolutely can! Just know it isn’t required. Students are encouraged to come with a group of friends and enjoy one of their last big events as TMS 8th graders before heading to Topsail High School in the fall.
TICKET SALES
Tickets are available for purchase in the cafeteria during 8th grade lunch on the following dates, at the posted cost:
$10 - March 3rd & 4th
$15 - April 7th & 8th
$20 - April 22nd & 29th
EXACT change & SIGNED permission form must be submitted at time of purchase to receive ticket. Forms will be in Homeroom Google Classroom.�
NO ticket sales day of or at the door!
At this time the planning committee is working to coordinate food, entertainment, decorations, as well as collect ideas, donations and assistance from parents wishing to be involved. There are several opportunities for your parents to volunteer your time or services and we would love your help! More information will continue to be shared as the event gets closer.
