May 22nd through May 25th

Half Days - 12:30 Dismissal

No backpacks for ALL students on Thursday May 25th

Attendance is still required even for students exempted from any final exam

Last Day of School, Thursday, May 25th

Bring chromebook and charger on last day of school (May 25th) to turn in to HomeRoom teacher

Summer School

  • Passing the STAAR EOC exams is required for graduation in the State of Texas for Algebra 1, English 1 & 2, Biology and US History. State law requires districts to provide 30 hours of accelerated instruction in the summer or the following school year per subject to anyone who fails a STAAR/EOC test. Communication has already been sent out to parents.

  • May 22 Early Raw Scores - These scores are considered preliminary until quality control processes are complete from TEA.
  • May 31 Early Scale Scores and Performance Levels - If there are no corrections to request, final accelerated instruction and graduation decisions may be made from this information.

  • NYOS will offer in person Summer School Monday through Thursday, June 5th-June 15th from 9am-12pm. No classes will be held on Fridays.
  • Testing will begin at 8:30am Tuesday, 6/20: English I/US History, Wednesday, 6/21: Algebra 1, Thursday, 6/22: English II/ BIO

  • August 11 Final Assessment Results for Families - Final assessment results published in the Family and Analytic Portals.
