In Language Arts we have been working on making connections within a story. We are making our way through Walk Two Moons and will start to write our informative essays on the book the week of December 11th.

In Science most of the ecosystem posters have been presented. They did a great job on them. The next big thing in science is deciding on your science fair project idea as those forms are due next Friday. I have attached the form to the email that came along with this newsletter, but you can also find it on the Aquarian Website.

In Social studies we have been working on a digital field trip of Ellis Island this week. Learning about what immigrants saw as they came to America. We also took some time to learn about current immigrants and some of the issues that they deal with. We will be beginning work on our projects in class on Friday. Please make sure that you child decides on a country to study by tomorrow.
