I am SO excited to be your teacher this year! This will be my first year teaching at Defiance Preschool. I reside in Defiance with my amazing husband Croyden, and our four fur babies of 2 cats and 2 dogs. January will be an exciting month for us as we are expecting our first child!

I believe learning thrives on positivity and a willingness to try new things. It brings me so much joy to watch children accomplish their goals, no matter how big or small. I cannot wait to get to know you and your child this school year!

All Students

• 1 backpack to fit a folder
• 1 plastic school box
• 1 plastic folder
• 1 3 pack of glue sticks
• 2 tubs of playdough
• 2 packs of crayons
• 1 pack of washable markers
• Scissors
• A change of clean clothes labeled in a Ziploc Bag
• 2 boxes of tissues
• 1 pack of wipes

Girls

• Gallon sized Ziploc Bags
• 1 bottle of washable glue
• Small paper plates

​

Boys

• 1 pack of construction paper
• 2 packs of 4-6 oz Dixie Cups for snack
• 1 pack of tissue paper

Optional

• Prepackaged snacks are welcome. ( Fruit snacks, Pretzels, Goldfish, Animal Crackers, Juice Boxes etc.)

Important Info

Label with child’s name: backpack, folder, and school box.

Open House: Monday, August 17^th from 2pm-4pm

First day of school: Wednesday, August 19th. We will follow the Defiance City Schools calendar. Class is in session Tuesday-Friday 7:30-10:45 AM.

Drop off: Doors open at 7:30am doors close at 7:45am. If you come in late, you will need to buzz in through administration doors to sign in.

Absences: Please write a note and stick in your child’s folder stating what day(s) they will be absent. If your child is sick, please message me on parent square or call Student Services (419) 782-5662.

Delays & Cancellations: You will receive a message on parent square, can listen to the radio, or check the Defiance City School Facebook page.
