Year 3 Camp Gear List - Waihi Tasman Holiday Park 2025

Please do not pack any Space Talk watches or electronic devices as they may get lost.

​

Come to school in appropriate walking gear…

​

• T-shirt and shorts/leggings
• Walking shoes
• Hat
• Warm jersey/ jacket

​

Please pack a school bag or backpack for our gorge / beach walk with…

​

• Morning tea and lunch for Wednesday
• Home baking in an ice cream container, with ingredients listed (please no nuts!) (Please put on the table in the hub on Wednesday morning)
• Drink bottle
• Togs and towel (please also bring a rash top/ long sleeve togs)
• Jandals or shoes that are easy to slip on
• A light rain parker in case of showers

Please pack an overnight bag (not too big) with….

​

• Pyjamas
• Toiletries- toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, facecloth, sunblock
• Change of clothes for following day
• Wetsuit if you have one (the ocean may be cold!)
• Underwear
• An extra towel,
• Bag to put dirty clothing in
• Warm sweatshirt or jersey for the evening
• 1 x small soft toy and/or book if wanted (This must be named and packed in your overnight bag- if it cannot fit, sorry it cannot come)

Bedding at Waihi Tamsan Holiday Park is all supplied

EXTRAS:

Medicine- Please hand this to your child's teacher (with instructions) on the morning of camp
