Embed a Twitter Feed

Create a page on another website

Weebly.com is one host that provides free websites for educators.

Remove everything from the page (headers, footers, sidebars, etc.) except for one html box.

Open a new window or tab and log in to Twitter

Click the gear and choose Settings.

Create a new feed

Click on Widgets. Choose Create New.

Set up your feed

Edit any settings you want. Click Create Widget.

Grab the code

Copy the resulting code and save your changes.

Go back to your other website and add the code

Go to your other (non-Google) website and add the code you copied from the Twitter widget.

Your Twitter feed should be the only thing on the page.

Make it pretty

Insert the following code above the html from Twitter. This will make your widget fit the box properly when you add it to your Google site.

Copy the url of the page where your feed is located

You will need the url of this page to set up your Twitter feed on the Google site.

Log in to your Google site and add an iFrame gadget

Edit the page for your Twitter feed. Click where you want the feed. Choose Insert > More gadgets, then Include gadget (iframe).

Set up your gadget

Paste the url of the page with your Twitter feed in the box and make any other changes. Save.

Congratulations!

You should now have a working Twitter feed on your Google site.
