Guidelines & Rules for taking DC/Dual classes

  • Student is responsible for his/her behavior at the college.
  • Student is responsible for his/her attendance.
  • Dropping a class:
    • You are responsible for dropping a class not your high school counselor. You are responsible for going to the college to communicate the intent to drop; never assume that the college will automatically drop the class because you quit going. You must inform you high school counselor of the drop as well.
    • If the college class is dropped, you will return to the high school and earn “no credit” for the remainder of the quarter.
    • You may be charged all of the tuition or a portion of the tuition, depending on when the class was dropped.
  • Each student is financially responsible for his/her own fees and books.
