Contacting Your Counselor

  • Visit before school, during lunch or study hall, or after school.

  • Sign up for an appointment in the Counseling Office or email your counselor with your availability.

  • For an urgent matter which requires immediate attention and cannot be addressed through the other methods, students may come in to see a counselor anytime. Students must notify their teacher.

Schedule Change Policy

Once a student selects his/her courses (verified by parents) the School Counseling Department will not initiate a schedule change unless a compelling educational reason exists. After the close of the school year (last spring) no changes will occur unless:

  • There is a technical error in the scheduling process
  • It is clear that the student is academically misplaced
  • There is a scheduling conflict
