International Women’s Day

International Women's Day is celebrated every year on March 8. It is a global day to acknowledge and honour women's social, economic, cultural, and political contributions throughout history and in various fields.

​

Not only that, the day promotes a sense of unity and solidarity among women globally. It brings them together to share experiences, support each other, and celebrate their collective strength in pursuing equal rights and opportunities.

The theme of International Women's Day 2024 will focus on 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,' targeting economic disempowerment. However, the campaign theme for the same year is 'Inspire Inclusion.'

The campaign theme Inspire Inclusion emphasizes the importance of diversity and empowerment in all aspects of society.

Budget Allocations by the District

• Norm based teaching positions: 15+5. No split Classes
• Nurse (2 days a week)
• School psychologist (1 day funded by LAUSD+ 4 days paid by the school)
• Library Aide ($65,716 for 6 hours a day)
• Campus Aides (2 positions for 3 hours per day each).
• Instructional Aides for TK -2 positions
• Instructional Aides- 14 position (3 hours a day)
• 1.5 semester of Art (we currently have Theatre and Dance)
• Overnight field trips: Cultural Arts Passport
