Proposals

  • Both organisations to host web links to each other’s websites
  • NDA findings documents to be distributed throught the Age UK mailing lists, including local Age UK branches, local forums and research and policy databases
  • Age UK and NDA to develop joint branding of NDA events; it is noted that some joint branding is already in operation, eg Somnia and Halcyon
  • NDA research findings to be filtered through to Age UK for ‘insights’ based social marketing: this exercise would involve a continuous distillation of insights as NDA projects mature until completion in 2014
  • Consideration be given to an Age UK presence at 3 further NDA meetings with a Science into Society theme
  • Joint discussions in forming third party relationships with the end users of research, including older people and their organisations, in order to improve knowledge transfer and impact
