Car Riders

Drop off at 8:00 and 10:45

Pick up at 11:45 and 2:25

Different this year

All East students are being released at the same time so parents please be aware that we must load and unload quickly to keep the line moving. If you wish to have more time please feel free to find a parking space in the back lot and you can still walk up to staff to pick up your child. We will also be providing car tags on the first day to help us better identify the appropriate individuals so that we can release your child with safety.

For our bus riders, students be entering and exiting the school by the circle. Our car rider procedure will be different this year. Please know that things may change as we go through the year but we will reach out through Bloomz to let you know. Please be patient with us as we also are getting used to the new routine and building. Car riders will be using the back parking lot. Please pull up to the sidewalk and wait with your child in your car. At this time we are only able to allow one car to release at a time. The first car will walk child to the teacher outside. The teacher will ask the adult if they performed the wellness check, which is discussed later. Then we ask for you to leave so the next car can pull up. For dismissal we ask that you stay by your car until you see a teacher. The first two cars may then meet teacher with their license or ID to get their child. Once again we know this is different and may take a little longer as we get used to the kids and the routine. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and healthy.

Snacks

Snacks will be provided by the school. No outside food allowed unless a documented allergy.

Parties

As of right now, there will be no classroom visitors or parties. No Goody bags will be allowed for birthdays. We will update you should this change.

Forms

You should have already received a packet of forms, a parent handbook, PLEASE NOTE ALL FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO YOUR CHILD’S FIRST DAY. YOUR CHILD CANNOT ATTEND SCHOOL WITHOUT ALL DOCUMENTATION.
