Shared Programs
How do we help Tigers to create global citizens who are lifelong learners?
Collaborate
We believe we are better together. We form partnerships where accountability is shared, vulnerability shines, risks are taken, stumbles and wins are both owned wholeheartedly, and innovations are cross-pollinated.
Innovate
We believe in pushing past the status quo in education and implementing game-changing ideas. We use data to illuminate stories, investigate obstacles to success, and tenaciously pursue bona fide solutions that will stand the test of time.
Advocate
We believe in meeting the needs of all learners through the empowerment of all educators. We design elegant tools and sustainable systems that equip educators to thrive in the profession while providing every learner with an equitable, whole child education.
Our mission is: Maximizing outcomes through partnership.
‘Whole Child Support’ on our website is a growing treasure trove of curriculum and tools to support reading, writing, math, and other areas.
We partner with leaders and teachers in the district to support classroom management, mental health, having tough conversations with youth, and much more.
Our SpEd manual website with extensive templates and tools is a workload-lightener that’s envied across the state
SCRED-written grants pay for School-Connect at the HS (ADSIS and SpEd)
SCRED staff partnered with PBIS teams to design and order the ROAR banners, saving thousands of dollars in the process
SCRED staff partner with the district on implementing the science of reading
Starting in the first week of COVID lockdown, SCRED staff began creating the Be Good People curriculum to support Rush City, which is now used around the world, spreading the word about the amazing things happening in Rush City
Whether it’s whole-school procedures and practices or the most “niche” SpEd topics…
…we hear appreciation for opportunities to learn from staff in other SCRED districts + SCRED staff for “cross-pollinating” and giving everyone the best possible resources to make their own.
