Prestructural - I still think that I “weigh” a certain number of kg.

Unistructural - I can complete a cartoon explaining that mass is the amount of atoms something has (measured in kg). Weight (N) is the force caused by gravity acting on the mass something has.

Multistructural - I can calculate the weight of a baby morepork on different planets using the formula W=mg. That means weight = mass x gravity.

Relational - I can formulate 5 questions to test whether someone understands how weight is different from mass, or test whether they can calculate weight using mass and gravity.
