Go to the Oshkosh Area School District website. Select “QUICKLINKS” then “Canvas Portal.”

In order to see your child’s Canvas account, you will need a “student pairing code”. (See the next page of this document for instructions.)

Check the agree to terms box, and click “Start Participating.”

The students need to go to their Canvas home page, select Account, then choose Settings.

Select Pair with Observer from the right sidebar of the settings page.

Copy or share the pairing code with a parent to allow them to register.
If more than one parent account is being created, two codes will be needed. After the first account is completed, the student can back out of the pop up window. Click to Pair with Observer a second time to get a new code.
The pairing code is only good for 7 days or a new one will have to be created.

Download the Canvas Parent app from the App Store or Google Play.

Open the Canvas Parent app, tap the Find my School button, enter [Oshkosh Area School District], and proceed.

Tap Create Account link at the bottom of the login page.

Fill out the signup form, including the pairing code that was shared with you, and tap Start Participating.
