Everyone- Undergarments

  • Undergarments are NOT provided by the school.
  • Everyone should wear undergarments that cover them completely so that when you do a costume change, you have proper coverage and are not exposing yourself. Some changes will be quick.
  • Females- Should wear a full coverage bra and full coverage underwear (no thongs). If you are worried about pantylines, you can get seamless underwear or use spanks that cover the whole bottom half.
  • It is recommended you wear a camisole, fitted nude tank top, or bodysuit/leotard with clear or flesh straps that remains on under all costumes. This is so that there can be a stable place to hook your mic pack that will not move with each costume change.
  • You may also need a pair of dance shorts if you wear a skirt in case during a dance you skirt flies up. This can also be used to secure a mic pack.
  • Males- Should invest in tank undershirts, proper full coverage underwear. If you sweat a lot, get a pack of several. If you wear a mic, we will hopefully have mic belts to attach under your clothing, but any sturdy undergarments that don’t switch during the show is a plus.
  • Nonbinary- Should choose either of the above options that are comfortable to you or that fits with the costumes or character you play.
