Sometimes it can seem like Mirah is just like an EHR – another boring, complicated software to learn. However, it’s not – MBC is really an evidence-based practice, and Mirah is a tool that helps make it happen.

The three “active ingredients” of MBC all involve Mirah as a tool.

Let’s start with (1) the patient engaging with Mirah and MBC by filling out the measures, sharing additional information with their provider about how they feel their treatment is going. Next, in (2), the provider gets that signal – that information – from their patient via the feedback report. They may notice something unexpected in the report, like a worrying trend or potentially a positive shift. Then, (3) the provider takes action with that feedback, bringing it into session and addressing it with the patient.

That is the virtuous cycle – because now that the provider has brought that feedback into session, the patient is engaged even more (1) because they can see that with the feedback report, their provider really can see what they think and feel, and is using it to help make their treatment more effective.
